Infrastructure:
Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC) is under renovation and is expected to be really good after the completion of the work. The infrastructure standards should then easily exceed those of other Govt. colleges.

Fees:
Rs. 22,000/year

Faculty:
Its pretty good. You can’t  expect a lot from professors at the degree level, just keep this in mind and you will find all the teachers pretty good. And if you don’t, you will keep grumbling about it all the time.

Hospitals affiliated:
Students are sent to the following hospitals:
Sion Hospital
Urban Health Centre, Dharavi
Kasturba Hospital
There is an abundance of patients in these hospitals, so get a good opportunity to gain practical experience.

Crowd:
Its a mixed crowd, majority of them being from the interiors of the state. You will receive a culture shock but either you learn to make them an integral part of your life, or just learn to live alone (The first option is highly recommended although the second one appears better).

Canteen:
Awesome food and really cheap. The canteen truly rocks!!

Hangouts:
College canteen (told you its awesome), coffee room (Yes, there is a room by that name), table tennis room and dean’s parking lot!! Its better to stay within the premises of the college so that you save time. If you wish to go out from the campus, Domino’s is the closest and favourite option. For movies you can go to Cinemax. And don’t forget to try the samosas from Guru Kripa.

Attendance:
Generally speaking its not much of an issue. But yes, certain departments are quite strict about it.

Festivals:
Slice and Spice are usually held in the first week of August. Slice consists of literary events and Spice, of the sport events. This is the time when Grand Juniors who have just joined get to know the college and their seniors.
To sum it up, Slice n Spice are a welcome break from the daily routine.
The biggest event in the College and one of the biggest in the state is Ashwamedh. Held usually in the third week of March, Ashwamedh is the most happening time in college.
The sports events held in Feb as Medi-Sports are also very popular.
