Location:
Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is only 8 min away from Kharghar railway station on harbour line by foot, but it isn't a good walk to the college and the journey comprises of two short treks if you wish to go by the shortest path.
Infrastructure:
The management allegedly does a step-motherly treatment with the engineering section. The building is dilapidated but the equipments in labs are up to the mark. There is a vast campus where students play football, basketball, cricket etc. Sports equipments are provided.

Faculty:
Although the teachers are experienced, they are said to have a severe problem when communicating in English. The mechanical faculty is quite decent though.
Attendance:
They are really strict about attendance, especially in the first year. There may be problems at the time of submissions and even parents may be called.
Crowd:
The crowd is said to mostly constitute of villager-like people. People are less cooperative and don’t interact. It is very difficult to take initiatives and expect active participation for those initiatives.
Boys to girls ratio is about 75:25.
Canteen:
The food is good and the canteen is really spacious. It is also really cheap. Just so that you get a rough idea, sada dosa costs just Rs.12/.
Hangouts:
There are many joints favored by the students like Café 9, Baghdadi, and Virgin Street Café. There is a also Little World Mall for those who want to roam around. Also, Belpada village is just 10 min away.
Festivals:
Abhiyan is the annual cultural and technical festival held around mid-March.
Placements:
Companies like Godrej, Reliance, and L&T come to recruit students.

Verdict:
Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is pretty ordinary overall. Come here if you want to do mechanical engineering as this is the only branch which is said to be very good here.
