Bombay flying club offers degree in aircraft maintenance engineering. There are two sections: Mechanics and Avionics .
Location:
Mere 5 minutes walk from Vile Parle railway station(W. Rly.). It is situated on S.V.Rd.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure over here is just about OK. They have just one building. There is no gymkhana for recreation. The campus area is not very big.
Faculty:
Teachers here are really well qualified, some having 20 years of experience. However, there is a lack of interest to teach, which becomes detrimental to the interest of students.
Attendance:
There is compulsory 80% attendance and they are very strict about it.
The Janta:
Its difficult to say because, generally either people who are really interested in
these courses come here or those who have no other option. So, in a way, you
will find a kind of mixed crowd here. Students come from all over Mumbai.
The cutoffs being low there are very few nerds and more of a typical engineering
crowd is seen.
Canteen:
Only 1 word ... “BAD”.
Hangouts:
The college being situated near Juhu , you have a variety of hangout places like
Dominos ,Barista, Mocha, Juhu beach, and for those with expensive tastes, you can try
out a certain J.W.Mariott.
Festivals:
No festivals and no sports at all.
Placements:
No campus placements, but you usually get a job easily
with this degree.

Verdict:
Life is hard here. Attendance is strict, exams are tough, there is no vacation and you hardly get three days off on term end. But, if you are really interested in aviation then this is the “only” college in Mumbai.
